Coffee Bar Chat Vol 2

Read Time: 3 Minutes

Welcome to the Coffee Bar Chat Vol 2! If you were not here for the first you can check it out here.

It’s no secret that I love good coffee, so I’ve decided to start a bi-weekly Coffee Bar series. The coffee bar is a place to chat about life, inspiration, the good, the bad, and the ugly. This bar is a no-judgment zone.

I’m sipping on a Starbucks dark roast cocoa with a hint of marshmallow with half and half added along with 3 tablespoons of light agave. The things dreams are made of. I love grinding the beans at night and putting them in the coffee maker and the smell that helps me wake up at 5 am.

I like to sit in the huge chair in the living room after letting the dog out than listening to the silence before the day starts. I don’t have kids so you’d think every day would be quiet but there’s the traffic, the roads are being worked on, etc.

Tell me in the comments what you’re having. I’m nosey and I love to know. If you’re looking for something a little different you can check out my list of Kick Ass Mind-Blowing Coffee Recipes, number 3 is hands down my favorite.

I was in the mood to make cookies last week so I decided to make one of my favorites Walnut & Chocolate chip cookies. They are so good, i love how the crunch of the walnut compliments the softness of the cookie and the sweetness of the chocolate.

I had my very first EEG last night, that was a pain in the butt, have you ever had one? There’s paste everywhere from the electrodes so it’s a bit tricky to wash out of curly hair. The nurses were nice and all I had to do was lay in the darkroom for an hour. She did shine this light in my face with my eyes closed and all i remember is the girl calling out number 14 and the next thing I know she’s at number 18.

Do you have anything going on medically? I told you I’m nosey. If you do just hold on to your faith because you’ll come out the other side. You might not know why it’s happening now but it’ll show itself in the end once it’s all over and everything is ok again.

I would share my story but I shared it in the last chat I’ll link it here if you’d like to check it out Scary things are frightening to love especially if you live with someone who doesn’t understand.

I finished my book for January called Atomic Habits, everyone has been talking about it so I decided to give it s read. It actually taught me a lot about 1%, changing habits, building new habits, and habit stacking. There is more to it but I won’t spoil it for those who want to read it.

I hope you join me for next week’s Coffee Bar chat! I’d love to hang out with you like hanging out and chat like a friend. As long as you’re a nice person, I don’t want to conversate with assholes. 🙂

You can also subscribe to the newsletter for new blog post updates, new recipes, and other tidbits. You can sign up here and you’ll get a free PDF showing you how to save more and spend less on groceries plus a free printable. I hope to see you on the list so we can keep in touch.

First – I love that you put I don’t want to conversate with assholes – love that! And I had an evoked potentials test before and sympathize with getting that weird stuff out of curly hair – it’s a long challenge.
