Kick Ass Mind Blowing Coffee Recipes

Coffee lovers stop here!

Wow, what a blog post name huh? However, it’s true! These are kick-ass coffee recipes that will blow your mind.

I’ve tested all of these recipes so I’m not running blind, I’d never lie to you, friend. ( can we be friends?) Although I’m a people pleasure I’d never lie to anyone though.

I am sipping on a white chocolate mocha I made this morning from the recipe I’m sharing with you.

First, I’m going to apologize for the old-school way of writing down the recipes, I can’t get the plugin to stop acting up for this post. However, to make it easier 2hen I get the plug-in working I will come back and update these.

I’ve always loved coffee, I started drinking it with my grandad and the ripe age of 11. Of curse, mine was decaf because on top of the energy i already had I’d be bouncing off the walls and scaring the horses.

MY grandad turned 93 in August of this year and I love hanging out with him he still lays bricks every day of his life. He said, “if I sit down I won’t get back up and I’ll lose myself”. The man has a point.

So coffee has always had a special place in my heart. Especially now that I can have caffeinated coffee, so I can enjoy these coffees.

Another reason coffee has taken on a new meaning in 2022, my house caught on fire so I stayed with my aunt and my cousins.

I was working at a collision center, I LOVED this job (more on that later) but I woke up every morning at 5 am then it became a habit once I started working at the collision center because it was an hours drive (which was fine because I had COFFEE) but it was so worth it.

Every morning my aunt and her husband had coffee at 5:30, so I got to have coffee with them every morning. It took 6 months for my house to be rebuilt and for fire damage to be erased.

Some of these coffee chats between my aunt and I were as well needed and I had no idea. Even though my house caught on fire feel like it was a sign that I needed to change my life. So I loved waking up and having these chats.

I was sad when my home was move-in ready, I was ready to go home but I also wanted the conversations around me.

2022 threw a ton of curve balls at me from 2 car crashes where I totaled 2 cars and almost died in the one in September. So now I have PTSD and hate getting into a car, my licenses were revoked because after all the doctors, and neurologist appointments it turns out I’m having seizures along with heart problems. Oh and cervical cancer too.

When I say 2022 was a total shit show I mean it.

So, now I’ll finally get to the part you’ve all waited for. I’ll be linking to these recipes too, so you can check them out to see what other goodies they have.

This copycat Maple Pecan Latte Recipe has the same ingredients as the Starbucks version:

  • dark brown sugar
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • butter
  • heavy cream
  • maple syrup
  • sea salt
  • Espresso (or this cold brew coffee concentrate works magic)

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons of Half and Half
  • 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Crushed Oreos

Instructions

  • In a large coffee mug, pour the vanilla syrup and the chocolate syrup in the bottom of the cup.
  • Pour in hot coffee and stir well. Add the half and half, if desired.
  • Carefully, add the scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Fill the top of the mug with whipped cream, and generously sprinkle crushed Oreo’s on top.

Toasted White Chocolate Mocha (Starbucks Inspired Recipe!)

  • ¼ cup espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp white chocolate sauce
  • 1 tsp caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream
  • Red sanding sprinkles
  • White pearl sprinkles

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp white chocolate sauce
  • 1 tsp caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream
  • Red sanding sprinkles
  • White pearl sprinkles

Instructions

1. Brew espresso. I used a stovetop moka pot.

2. Pour espresso into a mug and mix in white chocolate sauce and caramel sauce

3. Pour milk.

4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles

NUTELLA MACCHIATO

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ounces of espresso (a double shot)
  • 1 Tbsp Nutella
  • 2-4 ounces of whole milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make a double shot of espresso and stir in a heaping teaspoon of Nutella until it’s dissolved and the spoon comes out nearly clean. (There might be a wee bit left on the spoon, and it’s totally acceptable to lick this)
  2. Steam or froth your milk in a glass measuring cup using your espresso machine. If you don’t have an expresso machine, this can easily be done by heating the milk in the microwave for one minute. Then, insert a wire whisk into the cup of heated milk and spin the whisk handle quickly between your hands, similar to how you’d see someone warm up their hands near a fireplace. The whisk should do just the trick in creating frothy milk.
  3. Next, pour the espresso into a small coffee mug, then fill with about an ounce of milk and top with froth. Enjoy!
